Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, including buildings, parking lots, and perimeter areas, using a company vehicle.

• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action to resolve issues and prevent further occurrences.

​

• Access Control: Monitor and control access to sites, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry. Check identification and credentials as necessary.

​

• Report Writing: Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols in detailed reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

​

• Surveillance: Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor and record activity in and around assigned areas.

​

• Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, employees, and the public, providing assistance and information as needed.

​

• Safety Checks: Conduct routine safety checks, including inspecting doors, windows, and other entry points to ensure they are secure.

​

• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the security vehicle is well-maintained, fueled, and in good working condition.

​

• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to security operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.

• Licensing: Must possess a valid security guard license and a clean driving record. A driver’s license is required.

​

• Skills: Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

​

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.

​

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

​

• Technology: Familiarity with security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and alarm systems, is a plus.
