Our Approach

How we staff your post

Every officer completes New York State required training, a full background screening and a drug screen before their first assignment. Armed officers additionally carry Article 35 certification and requalify on schedule.

We staff posts with a primary officer and a named backup so coverage never lapses because of illness, weather or traffic. Shift changes are logged, and supervisors verify the relief in person.

Officers are trained to de-escalate first. Reports are written the same shift, so you have a defensible record for insurance carriers, counsel or law enforcement.

How It Works

From first call to first shift

  1. 01

    Site walk & risk review

A supervisor walks your property, notes vulnerable entry points, lighting gaps and traffic patterns, then recommends a coverage level.

  2. 02

    Written post orders

You approve site-specific post orders covering duties, escalation contacts and emergency procedures before the first shift begins.

  3. 03

    Deployment & supervision

Officers are assigned and briefed, supervisors run unannounced site checks, and you receive activity reports on your schedule.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need an armed or unarmed officer?

Most sites are well served by a uniformed unarmed officer. We recommend armed coverage where cash, pharmaceuticals, firearms or a documented threat history is involved, and we will tell you honestly when armed coverage is not necessary.

How quickly can you place an officer?

Standard posts are typically staffed within 24 to 48 hours of an approved quote, and we can often cover emergency or same-day requests on Long Island.

Are your officers insured?

Yes. Blue Line Security Group is licensed, bonded and insured under NYS License #11000214472, and certificates of insurance are provided on request.

Client feedback

Trusted across Long Island

Blue Line took over coverage of two of our buildings and the difference was immediate. Officers show up early, in full uniform, and the reports we get every morning are actually useful.

Michael R.

Property Manager, Rockville Centre

Their team covered our annual gala from setup through close. Guests were greeted, entry moved quickly, and the officers handled every question calmly and professionally.

Danielle S.

Event Coordinator, Garden City

Professional, reliable, and priced better than the two national companies we quoted. Residents know the guards by name now, which says everything.
